DustShoe is now one piece. Since it can be remove with just 2 thumbscrews, the magnet is no longer needed.

AltMill version has now features a flexible TPU soft shroud for better dust suction and more z-mount clearance.

Note: 1" Brush is not yet included.

Two thumbscrews and it is off

The dust shoe is a single piece. It comes off with two thumbscrews, which is quick enough that the magnet the older shoe relied on is no longer needed — and there is no magnet to lose or to let go at the wrong moment.

AltMill version

A soft TPU shroud

The AltMill version adds a flexible TPU shroud. It follows the surface better, so suction holds where a rigid shoe would lift, and it frees up more clearance around the Z mount.

Questions

Does it come with a brush?

No — the brush is sold separately. If you need one, the replacement brush is the part you want.

Why is there no magnet any more?

The shoe is one piece and comes off with two thumbscrews, so the magnet stopped earning its place. Fewer parts, and nothing to drop.
