The same v2 mechanism, supplied as a kit. You print the parts yourself, and the STEP files are included with your purchase so you can change the design to suit your CNC. The AltMill is used as the template.
Automatic tool changes
Nothing about the mechanism is reduced. It retracts before the spindle reaches the tool changer and returns to cutting height on its own, and the dust shoe comes off in seconds without tools when you want to clean it.
Support
This version assumes you are comfortable printing parts and assembling the system yourself. Support is limited compared with the fully assembled boot — if you would rather it arrived built and tested, buy the assembled version instead.

Less than the assembled boot, deliberately. This version assumes you already know your way around printing and assembly. If you would rather not, the fully assembled version is the one to buy.
