A set of covers for the Sienci AltMill's stepper motors and the wire harness running out of them. They snap into place over the motor, tidying the loom away and keeping dust, chips and the occasional knock off the wires.

Why bother

A loom you cannot catch

Loose stepper wiring is the thing that gets snagged, coated in dust, or nicked by a stray offcut. Covering it protects the harness and leaves the machine looking finished rather than half-wired.

Questions

What is in the set?

Four covers: three for the X and Y steppers, and one shorter cover shaped for the Z stepper.

I only need the Z or a Vortex cover.

Buy the Z or Vortex Stepper Guard instead — it is a single cover rather than the full set.

Do I need to take anything apart?

No. The covers snap over the motors, so nothing is unbolted and no wiring is disturbed.

Great Product
These are much nicer than the guards that come with the Altmill. They fit nicely with a friction fit.
